Welcome.
Whoever you are and wherever you are.
I'm a creative director, a photographer
and a great bookmaker (if you ask
my family, friends and my cat Jules).
The first part - creative direction -
(which I like doing), helps me pay the rent.
Since I moved to Paris, I’ve been working
as a freelance creative consultant for various
agencies as well as a number of corporations.
I received several prizes for my work in Sweden, Finland and France. I create advertising campaigns, corporate-identity projects, annual reports, brochures, newsletters, illustrations and web design. I also make presentations in PowerPoint and Keynote that keep people awake and interested.
But, as Tony Soprano would say, "this is just business!" - If you want to see some samples of my advertising work go to: http;//hayon.numeriblog.fr/brandy
The second part - photography - (which I love doing), brings me much joy. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always taken photos. Diane Arbus once said that is important to take bad photos and I’ve always followed her advice. My work was published by the NextLevel magazine and shown in UK and in France exhibitions. And you can see some of my photos if you'll go to: http;//hayon.numeriblog.fr
The third part, bookmaking (which I adore doing), makes me really happy.
There is nothing like holding a book in your hands that lets you share your work, your personal memories and dreams. For me a book is more than just a nice layout. When I make a book (for myself or for others), I always try to find an adding-value concept, a story, an idea around which I organize all the words and the images. This is the kind of books I would like to help you make. "Ag - the international journal of photographic art" presented one of my books (The Old Couple) in its 50th anniversary number.
Now just click below on my books' titles and you'll see all their pages as slideshows.
"24 PHOTOGRAPHERS. THE MAKING-OF"
"SHOOTING EACH OTHER (A TRUE STORY)"
"OBSESSIVE VARIATIONS IN ONE KEY"
"RECENT PORTRAITS & THE WHITE-COLLAR COMMUNITY"
And if you click the books' covers you'll find on the "Welcome to my Blurb Bookstore" page, you may order one for your pleasure and my glory.
And let me help you make yours.
